Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat is in the rainforest hinterland of Northern New South Wales
Just south of the NSW/Queensland border the Retreat is secluded in the rainforest where the Tweed Valley ends, and the mountains begin. The 250-acre private estate is protected on three sides by the world heritage-listed Numinbah Nature Reserve and Springbrook National Park at 201 Booka Road, Upper Crystal Creek via Murwillumbah.

We are located a pleasant 50-minute country drive from the airport. Our driver can also pick you up from another location to suit your itinerary.

Accessing the Retreat during very wet weather
The Retreat is easily accessible by any standard vehicle however our entry does feature some shallow creek crossings, these are generally not adversely affected by rainfall.
Our access is only occasionally impacted by heavy rain and then only for a very short time. In these instances, we will be in communication with our guests and advise our temporary access arrangements. Please call ahead at any time to discuss any rainfall access concerns.
