Our Luxury Rainforest Lodge, named Cedar Lodge, integrates striking contemporary design and a liberating spaciousness. The Lodge’s 175-square-metre open plan design is the most expansive of all our villas, and yet the massive floor-to-ceiling windows deliver a surprisingly intimate and lush rainforest aspect. Nestled in the valley of Crystal Creek, the views are dominated by ancient trees and nearby mountaintops. Outlining the high horizon to the north is the majestic ridge of Mount Springbrook. Amazingly open yet extremely private, this Lodge is over 300 metres from the nearest bungalow.
The generous private deck’s infinity plunge pool is heated throughout the seasons. A cosy, romantic, double-sided fireplace warms both the bedroom and lounge, whilst reverse-cycle air conditioning keeps you comfortable all year round. In the bathroom, floor-to-ceiling windows integrate the stunning beauty of the rainforest with the indulgence of a luxurious oval-shaped double spa. Limited-edition prints by Joan Miro and eye-catching interior design touches lift the ambience of this lodge. The generous kitchen features a host of premium-quality appliances.
For all this comfort, Cedar Lodge retains a superb level of sustainability, with discreet energy-efficiency technology. In addition to standard insulation in walls and ceiling, the Lodge also employs innovations such as ‘Comfort Plus’ glass in its expansive windows. With insulating properties far superior to standard glass, the Lodge successfully keeps the heat in during winter and excludes it in summer.

This place is amazing
14 March 2017My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. We stayed in the Cedar lodge which took our breath away, the furnishings were lovely, the pool was awesome and there was heaps of food from the hampers so we never went hungry. The view from the rooms overlooking the rainforest was superb. We definitely will be coming back but maybe for a bit longer.
