If either of you has a passion for preparing the perfect romantic dinner, our Retreat has everything for you. If you choose to bring your own supplies, every one of our rainforest lodges, bungalows and cabins has a full-size kitchen equipped with quality appliances including a four-burner gas cooktop and microwave. Each Rainforest Canopy Bungalow has a full-sized oven.

All our accommodation has a top-of-the-range stainless-steel barbecue on the private deck as well.

Stir fry in your own kitchen, barbecue al fresco on the verandah, picnic under the giant fig tree by the creek or carry a hiker’s pack to the lookout.

Kitchen provisions include: tea towels, dishwashing detergent, placemats and napkins, coffee plunger, glasses for wine, champagne and beer, crockery, cutlery and all cooking and barbecue utensils, tea, good coffee, salt, pepper and pure drinking water on tap.

Buying supplies locally

The township of Murwilllumbah has a Coles supermarket which is open until 9pm most nights, and there is a variety of specialist stores in the town. We recommend Tweed Fruit Exchange for local and good quality fruit and vegetables plus The Modern Grocer for quality deli goods.
